Damfino Playing Cards are Victorian-inspired poker sized playing cards. The packaging features a warm black, red, and white color palette, vintage typography, and gritty textures throughout, evoking the feeling of a strange antique deck. The name comes from Victorian slang and is essentially shorthand for 'damned if I know'. This project includes the designs for the playing cards themselves, the individual boxes, and the point of purchase display. All elements, including photography, dielines, cutting, and assembly were developed and executed by myself over the course of roughly a month. Through this project I was able to learn how to use, adjust, and create dielines, explore Victorian-inspired imagery, and prominently feature my own photography and costumes.
